The ICT Department at Sir William Robertson Academy aims to provide high quality teaching and learning that ensures pupils are prepared for life in the 21st century.  ICT lessons are well organised guaranteeing the effective delivery of the National Curriculum throughout KS3 and KS4. 

The department seeks to provide a positive learning environment that enables pupils to become confident independent learners while encouraging positive working methods in ICT.

Key Stage 3 (KS3) Information

At KS3 all pupils have one lesson per week of discreet ICT in which we expect all pupils to achieve high National Curriculum Levels. 

Assessment

All work is teacher assessed based upon portfolio of evidence and teacher assessment within the lessons.

Key Stage 4 (KS4) Information

At KS4 all pupils have one lesson per week of discreet ICT in which we expect all pupils to achieve Level 2 OCR National qualification in ICT. 

Assessment

OCR Nationals in ICT is assessed by 100% coursework.
