The Learning Support Department aims to create and support a positive learning environment where all pupils are valued and each pupil is unique. The Department works within the statutory framework provided by the Code of Practice ( 2001) and recognises that special educational needs are frequently inter-related.
The Learning Support Department aims to support the school in creating and environment where students feel secure and can maximise achievement. Arrangements are made for pupils who experience difficulty in learning, that is, those pupils who at some time in their school careers need additional support and resources in order to help them learn and take a full and active part in school life.
